When pre-med freshman Beth Garrett is found strangled to death, a mysterious text leads Detectives Morales and Jaruszalski to a potential suspect. After some investigating at her sorority, the detectives learn that there is more to this mild mannered bookworm than initially meets the eye. Meanwhile, DDA's Dekker and Rubirosa are forced to change their strategy when game-changing evidence is discovered at the last minute; it might just take a confession from a suspect who managed to stay under the police's radar, to turn the case around.

Colvin takes on the police department's corrupt promotion system after a hate crime murder. Vonda receives an anonymous package that reveals more about the Wysocki family. Jarek meanwhile reveals his feelings for and affair with Dina to Lilly, causing their breakup and Dina to reject him.

Kaylie finally returns to training at The Rock, but the public is under the impression that her time away from the gym was from an ACL injury, not rehab for anorexia. Soon after, Sasha announces that Kelly Parker is going to replace Emily on the World team, and that Kaylie will be replaced, as well, since she has not had enough time to train.
"Young at Heart"
Grace and Adrian shop for a wedding dress, and Amy is cornered into planning a baby shower for Adrian. Grace and Grant have relationship problems.
"The Fix"
After losing a bet with Wilson over a boxing match, House is convinced that the fighter he bet on (Kevin Phillips) has an underlying medical condition that cost him the fight. While he tries to prove it, he leaves his team alone to help a bomb scientist (Linda Park) who suffered a seizure. Meanwhile, House may be experimenting with a new drug to help his leg pain.

The TARDIS is stranded onboard a 17th-century pirate ship whose crew is being attacked by a mysterious and beautiful sea creature, called a Siren.
