"The Curse of the Black Spot"

The TARDIS is stranded onboard a 17th-century pirate ship whose crew is being attacked by a mysterious and beautiful sea creature, called a Siren. Become by cabin fever, the pirates have numerous superstitious explanations for the Siren's appearance. The Doctor has other ideas but, as his theories are disproved and every plan of escape is thwarted, he must work to win the trust of the implacable Captain Avery and uncover the truth behind the pirates' supernatural fears – and he must work quickly, for some of his friends have already fallen under the Siren's spell.

"Common Descent"

Destiny comes under attack by the berzerker drones again, but manages to escape to FTL. Fearing that the captured drone is leading the enemy to them, the crew destroy it the next time they drop out of FTL. Needing supplies and more lime for the life support system, the team travels to a nearby planet and encounter two humans who recignize Scott and Greer as their ancestors. It turns out that the crew of the future Destiny were thrown back in time 2,000 years and founded an advanced society on the planet they landed on, Novus. The planet the crew visits is a colony of Novus which has lost contact with their homeworld. The settlers help to resupply Destiny. The drones attack again and the Stargate is disabled and Destiny is forced to flee without Eli, Scott, Chloe, Greer and Wray, but Eli manages to use the Stargate's connection to Destiny to send a Morse Code message telling them its alright to retrieve them in the shuttle. The crew take the population of the planet on board and travel to Novus to find it in nuclear winter from a supervolcano eruption and an advanced city that has been long abandoned.
