Vanessa and Red are surprised to learn that someone has hired Red's ex-wife, Emily, to dig up dirt on Lancer's athletic programs and staff.

"Woke Up Dead"
The Hellcats help Dan with his short movie trailer, involving zombies. Marti continues to investigate into her father's past with help from a music store employee (AJ Michalka). Kelsey, a magazine reporter (who previously wrote a story on the Hellcats) convinces Alice to work with her in exposing athletes cheating on their assignments, with Lewis being one those athletes.
