The day after returning from panel, Miss J. arrived at the top model apartment, and escorted the girls to an informal meeting with Franca Sozzani, the editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia, giving them the chance to ask her questions, and show her their portfolios. After Franca left, J. next introduced the girls to Noor Talbi, a professional tea-tray dancer, who after teaching the girls the art of balancing trays on their heads, informed them that they would have to demonstrate what they had learned in front of a live audience later that night.
At the challenge, J. informed the girls of a further twist – they would have to balance lit candles on their trays, as well as dance with a professional group of tea-tray dancers. Molly struggled, tripping on her skirt almost immediately, and making little effort to recover, but Brittani excelled and managed to keep her tray balanced for her whole routine. Alexandria initially performed well, but dropped her tray completely in her final move, and struggled to regain her composure. Eventually, Brittani was named as the challenge winner, giving her the opportunity to have a personal runway lesson from J, along with Hannah, who she chose to share the reward. Later, the girls were wandering through Marrakesh, and discovered a restaurant with unusual delicacies, including eyeballs, and goat’s brain, which each of the girls sampled. Later, Brittani regretted her decision at the restaurant, having fallen ill since eating there.
At the photoshoot, Jay told the girls that their shoot would be a continuation of the story behind their last shoot, and introduced them to their photographer for the week, Friedemann Hauss. Hannah struggled to successfully portray her story, and struggled as a result, but Molly and Brittani once again excelled. Alexandria was excited for the shoot, but became frustrated when Jay warned her not to be controlling at the shoot again, and consequently her performance suffered.
At panel, Alexandria received a mixed responded for her shot, and the judges all agreed her shot was not high fashion, something which they also said of Brittani, though they still liked her picture. Hannah also had a decent picture, but the judges again worried that she was not a standout. Molly impressed the most with her high fashion shot, and ultimately she earned the first call out for the second week in a row. Hannah and Alexandria were named as the bottom two, both for control issues – Alexandria for being to controlling at her shoots, and Hannah for lacking the control to be consistent, but in the end, Hannah was given a reprieve, and Alexandria was eliminated from the competition.

The remaining models arrive in Marrakesh, Morroco, where they get to explore the city and enjoy the sights. During a challenge, one of the girls has a meltdown when none of the designer clothing fits her figure. At the photo shoot, one of the models is chastised for trying to direct the shoot, while another deals with body images issues that threaten her photos. Vogue Italia Editor-in-Chief Franca Sozzani joins the judges' panel to decide which girl will be eliminated and leaving Morocco.

Quickfire Challenge: A blind taste test of 20 ingredients.

Elimination Challenge: Chefs were split into two teams to serve a Russian zakuski meal, inspired by Dan Aykroyd's brand of vodka, Crystal Head Vodka which is made in Newfoundland.

"Cheese, Glorious Cheese"
Quickfire Challenge: In this high stakes Quickfire, the chefs must prepare breakfast using 100% cow’s milk cheese from the Dairy Farmers of Canada. The winner earns immunity in the Elimination Challenge, while the loser goes home. After announcing the bottom three dishes, the chefs who cooked them are each given a second chance to save themselves, with 20 minutes to cook an amuse-bouche.

"Getting To Know You"
Quickfire Challenge: The 16 chefs competed in a three-round mise en place tournament. The Quickfire prize was immunity at the elimination challenge.
Round One: Fillet a red snapper; fastest eight move on to Round Two.
Round Two: Peel and prep artichoke hearts; four with the most number of prepared artichokes move on to Round Three.
Round Three: Prepare a hollandaise sauce; best two move on to the final round.
The final two chefs were given 20 minutes to make a dish with the ingredients from the first three rounds, plus items from the Top Chef pantry.

Elimination Challenge: The chefs each create a dish that represents who they are and where they come from.

Tyra educates the models about the importance of a portfolio, which will prove valuable when they learn the challenge is to complete a round of go-see's in Los Angeles. Later, the girls are dismayed to learn their shoot will take place at a landfill, where they will wear eco-friendly couture creations by designer Michael Cinco and be photographed by judge/photographer Nigel Barker. Handbag and accessories designer Lana Marks joins the judges' panel to decide which girl will be eliminated.

"The Buddy System"
Immunity Challenge: The castaways would dig a club out from under the sand. They would then use the club to smash a tile. The first six castaways to smash their tile would move on to the second round. In the second round, the six castaways would dunk their head in a trough of water and collect water in their mouths. They would then crawl under the trough and spit the water into a tube. The first three to fill their tubes would move on to the final round where they would solve a block puzzle. The first castaway to solve their puzzle would win.
The day after Tribal Council, Ralph asked Ashley if he was next on the chopping block and offered his vote for her at the final Tribal Council over Rob should she make it to the top three. Natalie told Rob about Ralph's offer and how Ashley said that she would not tell Rob about the offer. Rob decided that because of that transgression, Ashley would not make it to the final three. Rob tried to keep his Ometepe tribemates from forging alliances with the Zapatera tribe members, even going so far as having separate living quarters and eating times. The former Ometepe agreed to a "buddy system" where none of them would talk to the former Zapatera about the game at all. At the Immunity Challenge, Grant, Rob, Ralph, Mike, David, and Julie moved on to the second round. Grant, Mike, and David then moved to the final round where Grant solved the puzzle first to take the second Individual Immunity Challenge. While the Ometepe alliance was down the beach, Mike and David noticed that tribe's flag had moved, so they started digging around the pole thinking that there was a Hidden Immunity Idol. The Ometepe alliance noticed the digging and raced back to camp to dig for themselves. Rob was concerned that Zapatera might have found another Hidden Immunity Idol. At Tribal Council, the former Zapatera tried to sow doubt into Phillip's mind that he was the sixth man in the Ometepe alliance, but Phillip did not bite and threw it right back at the Zapatera members. When the vote came, Ometepe decided to send Mike to Redemption Island by a vote of 6–5.
Immunity Challenge: The castaways would hang from a bar over a pool of water. After twenty minutes, the castaways could only hang upside down with their legs over the bar. The last castaway to hang on to the bar would win.
When the tribe returned to camp, Rob congratulated Phillip on his stand against Zapatera at Tribal Council and told him that he was not at the bottom of the Ometepe alliance, but at the top of the Ometepe alliance. Ralph approached Phillip and Andrea to talk about the game, but they deflected his attempts. When the tribe arrived at the Immunity Challenge site, they were greeted with the view of cheeseburgers. Jeff told them that anybody who wanted to eat could do so, but they would be out of the challenge. Steve and Phillip opted out of challenge to eat. The challenge came down to a battle between David and the women of Ometepe. After over 45 minutes, David dropped from the bar. Andrea told Ashley and Natalie that she really wanted this challenge. Ashley and Natalie agreed to drop from the bar, giving Andrea the win. After awarding Andrea the Individual Immunity necklace, Jeff told the tribe that they would meet at Tribal Council to vote out a castaway who would meet both Matt and Mike at Redemption Island. Rob was torn between issuing orders to vote out David or Steve. At Tribal Council, the order was for David and he went to Redemption Island by a vote of 6–4.

At a shoot with photographer and judge Nigel Barker, the models wear fashions designed for Ford's "Warriors in Pink" campaign and compete to appear in a national print ad. The winner also gets a huge surprise, and the shoot ends with an angry confrontation between Alexandria and Brittani. Next, Miss J. takes the models on a field trip to Universal Studios for a VIP tour, where they are joined by Jay Manuel for a shoot with photographer Miguel Starcevich and "Gossip Girl" stylist Eric Damon. Daman joins the judges for an extra-dramatic panel.
